LG Arena KM900: bold and beautiful
This is the LG Arena KM900: bold, beautiful and looks a bit like…. the iPhone. Let’s wait and see what the big manufacturers like LG, Nokia, Samsung and SonyEricsson will come up with when the new iPhone will be introduced in a few months. Probably they will try to copy it again. And why not? If you can’t beat the most hyped phone ever… join it! Anyway. LG Arena has a new 3D user interface with four adaptable homescreens, 3G, HSDPA , A-GPS, WiFi, a 5 megapixel camera with video, MicroSD slot, Bluetooth and has a touchscreen (surprise!). The LG Arena weighs 105 grams and its dimensions are 106 x 55 x 12 mm. The talktime is about 230 minutes. The LG Arena is available in a store near you.
Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH for sale
Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH. Sounds kind of super, mega, fantastic, ultra! It looks great and the specifications are not bad either. The Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH is a quadband UMTs and HSDPA slider with these dimensions and weight: 110 x 52 x 13 mm and 119 grams. It has a very bright 2.8 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, A-GPS, Bluetooth with A2DP support, FM Radio, 80MB internal memory, microSD support (max. 16GB) and a multimedia player that can handle DivX, MPEG4, XviD, MP3, AAC and AAC+. It has the well known Samsung TouchWiz User Interface and it can be regarded as the successor of the Samsung Soul. The standby time is about 300 hours and talk time of 240 minutes.
Nokia E63 available
The Nokia E63 has arrived! The cheap version of the Nokia E71 is available in your local telecom store or online. The specifications are: quadband 3G phone with 2.36 inch TFT screen with 16 million colors and 320 x 240 pixels, 2 megapixel camera, QWERTY keyboard, microSDHC slot, 110 MB internal memory, push email, Bluetooth with A2DP, WiFi and stereo FM radio. The dimensions are 113 x 59 x 13 mm and it weighs 126 grams. The standbytime is 432 hours and the talktime is 660 minutes.
Toshiba TG01 introduced
This is the Toshiba TG01! It’s not a notebook although the screen of the TG01 is almost as large as a full size notebook screen! The specifications of the TG01 are: it’s a HSDPA phone with a 4.1 inch WVGA (800×480) touchscreen display, a very fast 1GHz Qualcomm processor, WiFi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, microSD slot, 3.2 megapixel camera and the TG01 is very thin: 9,9 mm. The TG01 has a few drawbacks: there’s just 512 MB of internal memory and the phone is running on Windows Mobile 6.1. As you can see Toshiba has made a fancy layer to hide Windows but it’s still there! The TG01 will be available in Q3 and its price is unknown at this moment. Until then you can enjoy the movie below.
Welcome Nokia E75
This is the Nokia E75, the new slider qwerty phone that can be seen as the early successor of the E71 although the E71 hasn’t been around for a long time. The looks of the E75 are quite different from the E71, the inside isn’t. The E71 is thin wide and has a qwerty keyboard on the candybar. The E75 is somewhat thicker, not as wide and has a slide-out qwerty keyboard. Whatever you prefer! The specs: the E75 is a quadband HSDPA phone with 320 x 240 pixels color screen, 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, 30 fps video, WiFi, A-GPS with Nokia Maps, FM stereo radio, mp3 player, video player, micro SDHC slot, microUSB, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 1000 mAh battery. The E75 will be available from half March 2009 and will cost about € 450. Within a few weeks we will have a nice review for you. See you soon!
Nokia N97 video from CES
Below you will find a short but useful video of the upcoming Nokia N97 which is one of the most important phones they have made until now. It’s the first top level touchscreen Phone by Nokia. Unfortunately we were not allowed to play around with this N97 most probably because it’s just not completely ready yet! So we have to be patient until the beginning of Q2. No need to tell you again that we really like the looks ánd specifications of the N97. We are still a bit disappointed by the thickness of the N97 though. But let’s wait and see because a handson is still always the best way to get to know a phone.
This is the HTC Touch Cruise 2!
Not bad isn’t it? The HTC Touch Cruise 2 ispacked with features and software. Here we go: HSDPA Windows Mobile 6.1 device with WiFi, 2.8 inch TFT-LCD touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera (without autofocus), microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0, 512 MB internal memory, mini-USB, headphone jack, A-GPS (works indoors), 1100 Mah accu and its dimensions are 102 x 53.5 x 14.5mm, its weight is 103 grams. HTC claims a standbytime of two (!) weeks and a talktime of 400 minutes. TomTom and geotagging software are included. The HTC Touch Cruise 2 will become available in Q2 and a carkit will be included with no extra charge.
BlackBerry Curve 8900 available
This is the BlackBerry Curve 8900! The Curve 8900 is thinnest and lightest BlackBerry with full qwerty keyboard. The Curve 8900 is rekated to the BlackBerry Bold, without 3G but with WiFi. The Curve 8900 is 13,5 mm thin and has a 2,4 inch display with 480 x 360 pixels, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD slot, 3,5mm headphone jack and a fast 512 MHz processor. RIM promises 5,5 hours talktime and 14 days of standby-time. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 weighs just 110 grams and measures 109 x 60 x 13.5 mm.
Samsung Pixon M8800 for sale
As of now the Samung Pixon M8800 is available. Let’s refresh everyones memory. Piece de resistance is the 8 megapixel camera with autofocus. But let’s not forget the other features: 3.2 inch touch screen (240 x 400 pixels), quad-band HSDPA phone measuring 107.9 x 54.6 x 14.9mm and weighing 110 grams, GPS, FM radio, MicroSD slot, 200 MB internal memory, Bluetooth, virtual QWERTY keyboard and handwriting recognition.
LG KC780 for sale
As of this week the LG KC780 will be for sale online or in your local mobile store. The KC780 has an 8 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens. LG claims it makes perfect pictures even in low light circumstances which is something most camera phones s*ck at… But wait, there’s more: it has smile detection and smile shot, image stabilisation and you enhance your pictures with some sort of photoshop function. You can even use your KC780 as a webcam through Bluetooth.Nice. The KC780 has a 2.4″ display and is a slider of just 13.9 mm. The KC780 is a true (and goodlooking) cameraphone. Don’t buy it for the 3G, WiFi and GPS because it’s not included
